Privacy policy
The short version
This is a static reference site: no accounts, no sign-up forms, no data collection of our own. The size-decoder tool runs entirely in your browser — what you type never leaves your device. The site displays advertising served by Google and contains affiliate links; the tracking each involves, and your choices, are below.
Advertising and cookies (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
Your choices:
— Opt out of personalized advertising from Google at Google Ads Settings.
— Opt out of many third-party vendors' personalized ads at aboutads.info/choices (US) or youronlinechoices.com (EU/UK).

Visitors from the EEA, UK or Switzerland will see a consent message before personalized ads or their cookies are used; declining yields non-personalized ads (cookies used only for purposes like frequency capping and fraud prevention). You can change your choice later via the privacy-settings link the consent tool provides.
Affiliate links
Some pages contain affiliate links (for example, Amazon Associates). Clicking one typically sets a cookie on the merchant's site so the merchant can attribute a purchase; that tracking happens under the merchant's privacy policy, not ours. We receive aggregate commission reports, never your identity or purchase details tied to you as a person.
What else is collected
Hosting logs. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to deliver pages and protect against abuse, per Cloudflare's privacy policy. We don't use this data to identify anyone.
Email. If you write to us, we use what you send only to respond and act on it, keep it no longer than needed, and never add you to lists.
We do not sell personal information for money. Under some US state laws, allowing third-party advertising cookies can count as "sharing" or a "sale" — the opt-outs above and the consent/privacy-choices tool are how you exercise that choice here.
Your rights
EEA/UK (GDPR): withdraw ad-personalization consent any time via the consent tool; exercise access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection rights over personal data we hold directly (in practice, email you've sent), and complain to your supervisory authority.
US states: depending on your state, rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale/sharing, without discrimination. Use the opt-out links above for ad cookies; email us for anything we hold directly.

Children
General-audience home-maintenance content, not directed at children under 13 (or your jurisdiction's equivalent age); we knowingly collect nothing from children. If you believe a child sent us personal information, email privacy@airfilterkits.com for deletion.
Security, retention, links
The site is static — no user databases exist to breach. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed. External links (EPA, studies, retailers) operate under their own policies.
